What crop means: The PDF CropBox becomes smaller. Content outside it is hidden from normal viewing, not rewritten or rescaled.
Exact units: Each edge is entered in millimetres and converted to PDF points at 72 points per inch.
Important boundary: Cropping is not redaction. Hidden content may remain in the file; use Redact PDF when information must be destroyed.
